This asynchronous activity consists of two parts.
Important: The deadline to complete it is Friday, July 26 (11:59 PM).
Part 1
To complete this activity, you’ll first need to retrieve the interactions with the ChatGPT model that you submitted for Asynchronous Activity 1. We’ve included a video tutorial here that shows you how to recover the response you submitted, including your interaction with the language model.
Second, to complete Asynchronous Activity 2, you’ll need help from someone you know—such as a family member or a friend. You’ll use their responses to fill out a form based on your interaction with them. Just like in the previous activity, you should submit a separate form for each new response you collect.
As a first step, we suggest sharing this very short video with the person you’re working with. It serves as an introduction to the concepts of bias and stereotype. After watching the video, you’ll share the interaction you submitted for Asynchronous Activity 1. The person should read through the interaction and, keeping the definitions of bias and stereotype in mind, answer the questions in the form. Be sure to take note of their responses. In this video, we show an example of the kind of interaction we hope you’ll have with your friend or family member.
Access the Part 1 Form here.
Note: If you’re not satisfied with the interaction you submitted for Asynchronous Activity 1 and would prefer the other person to analyze a new one, you must first complete the Activity 1 form again with the updated interaction. Only then should you proceed with this activity.
Part 2
In this part of the activity, we’d like to ask you a few questions about your thoughts on Artificial Intelligence.
This time, we’re interested in your opinion on a few statements related to AI. To share your thoughts, please complete the Part 2 form here.
See you at our next in-person session!
Remember: July 27, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Baterías D in Ciudad Universitaria.
