Class Summary
On July 27, we held Class 3, revisiting the asynchronous Activities 1 and 2, where participants explored interactions with language models. Together with colleagues, we analyzed whether these interactions exhibited biases or stereotypes. We then introduced key concepts about data—including privacy and usage—and shared a consent form for data collection, highlighting the importance of data rights. Next, we demonstrated the EDIA tool’s core functionalities for detecting biases and stereotypes in words and phrases. Finally, we provided an overview of how language models work internally.
Data Protection and Informed Consent
We shared videos featuring Beatriz Busaniche, president of Vía Libre, discussing data protection and its intersection with AI.
